New provider: AT&T 08/1/2007
AT&T will be provisioned to people for low latency low bandwidth applications. Primarily for game servers. A set of guidelines will need to be met for getting AT&T ips at no extra charge and will be announced shortly before the segment becomes available.

FDCservers significant upstream connectivity upgrade 07/2/2007
FDCservers is pleased to announce we will add several new TIER1 carriers to diversify & upgrade our network which will bring our network capacity to 71Gbit. Starting August 2007 our network will consist of the following upstream providers, all with 10Gbps uplinks:

XO Communication http://www.xo.com/about/network/maps/complete_normal.html
NTT Communications http://www.ntt.net/english/about
Global Crossing http://www.globalcrossing.com/network/network_interactive_map.aspx
PCCW Global http://www.pccw.com/eng
Tiscali http://www.tiscali.net/index.php?a=b...&p=network_map
XEEX http://www.xeex.com
WVFiber http://www.wvfiber.com

In Addition, more providers will be added in the Fall of 2007

Starting September 1st we will increase service fees to help offset some of the costs for these network improvements. Price increases are never welcomed news however, they are necessary considering cost associated with building out the infrastructure and quality of upstream providers.
Dedicated servers and colocation servers will be increased by $20/month per server
Virtual servers by $5/month per virtual server

FDC would like all of its customers to have plenty of time to make other arrangements if they do not see value in these substantial changes to the network.
