About VDS/BW etc..

1st of all, those plans that u offer are really great, thanks.

And now..
I'm a bit confused :confused: about the BW on a VDS. Let's get the VDS #1 for example. It has 1mbit SHARED link, right? Moreless 300gb in/out/month, but how it works? Do it sharing 1mbit with all FDC network or just with its rack? How works this bandwith limit? When the VDS reachs 300gb it'll have a page.suspension or it'll never happen cuz the REAL CAPACITY is just 1mbit?

About this #1, have someway to get a server with other non-irc VDS's? I wanna start with it to practice and learn server monitoring, but IRC processes i think causes server slowing and high cpu usage.
How much costs to put a control panel on it?

ALL servers are DUAL opterons with 8gb RAM? (which processor?)

Do u have a SLA term? And about Control Panels, can i have one in Portuguese-BR? I mean, do u offer RVSkin (maybe instead of Fantastico) or any PT-BR skin for DirectAdmin?

From what i can tell, ur basically capped to 1mbps.. so u wont be crossing ur monthly bw quota

As for SLA, FDC doesnt provide any SLA

As for Control panel, Cpanel+fantasico and DA is available. Not sure abt how much it wud be to add it to VDS#1 package
Again not sure abt the skins..but most likely answer will be a NO.

As for the processor, it claims on their website, the vds are hosted on dual opteron.

I am pretty sure, FDC spearates the irc VDS from the non-irc VDS. You can always request them nicely to put on a non-irc VDS.
Also Package #1 doesnt allow irc..So if u need IRC, its package #2 and above

The older ones were on Athlon 1800's and even some celerons


either way they still perform very well for the price

Last time I checked, Cpanel was a $10 addon (e-mail Sales@fdcservers.net for confirmation on that). On my old VDS, it was on a P4 2.4Ghz with 2GB of ram :O and they gave us 83GB of space on the $59 plan LOL :). Thanks FDC!

Hehe i know RVSkin is good, but the problem is this: i'm brazilian, here the currency is about 1/3 dollar... or: when u pay 20 bucks for something, i pay 60 hehe :o:
