I need a server with 1Gbit uplink and atlease 1000GB bandwidth with windows 2003.
I plan to do live broadcasting for 2 hours a month.
If I get a server with 1Gbit uplink will I ever be able to use the full amount for 2 hours straing, do you have that capability?

I plan to take multiple servers.
Thanks

In regards to if it can push that, if its truly a gigabit uplink to the core router, then you should be able to. As snoop said, ask sales .

dkxin,

Live broadcasting for 2 hours per month with full 1 Gbit/s is just 900 GB transfer, but as the bandwidth is not dedicated (but shared), I doubt you'll be able to reach 1 Gbit/s full for the whole time. Unless of course you make a special deal with sales@fdcservers.net as snoop/JBWebmaster already recommended you.

Just by curiosity, do you need this bandwidth for huge RADIO broadcast (ie 8.192 listeners @ 128 kbps) or TV broadcasting (ie 8 Mbit/s as satellite transmits I think). TV broadcasting makes more sense to me and as I was interested in past to do something similar, would you like to share some information of your project with us?
