BW is unmetered..but is capped at the package specs, such as 3 Mbps, or 5 mbps or 100Mbps.. Mind yah, these are not dedicated bw, bw is shared among all other clients... 7 Megabits = 7/8= 0.875 Megabytes approx.

Measurement in Bits are often used by ISP ( some say itz a marketting technique to get some comp illetrate users by making them thinnk itz a big value and hence large speed).

Measurement in Bytes, is often used by us.. when we say " oh , i downloaded that winrar file at 120 KB/sec" means, we downloaded @ 120 Kilobyes/sec

Just 2 diff speed measurement used.

thanks for the explanation, but i still am confused about your banwidth. Lets say that i sign up for one of your plans. How much banwidth will i get? Does unmetered means unlimited? if so, i heard that there is no such thing is unlimited

Like i said, bw is unmetered but here's the catch, itz port capped..so therotically speaking, if you are capped at 3.2 Megabits, max u can pull from that pipe ( 24/7) is approx. 1000gb ..so using that formula u can expect the approx bw u can max pull.. Say for the 5 Mbps, it wud give u approx 1550 GB of bw per month.

Now for the 100 unmetered package... that 100 Mbps is shared bw..so itz impossible for u to get all 100 Mbps running to ur port..Just means, u can BURST upto " 100 Mbps" for a short period of time... Also, if u sustain more than 15Mbps for a long period of time, FDc will cap u down to 10 Mbps as it will "congest" the network.

Thats how FDc can afford to give yah cheap prices for the burstable bw.

If you are looking at dedicated bw ( u and only u sucking the juice outta it), thats much higher price ur looking at.

Roughly 10 Mbps dedicated bw cost yah at $210 USD per month, 100 Mbps unmetered cost yah, around $1200 usd per month and so on
