Switching to a VDS

Hello guys,


for a long time i have been useing a shared hosting account. they setup cpanel for me, and they gave me a ftp address where i upload my files into the webserver. it was easy and i have been successfully running my website for a number of months. however my website has grown exponentially and it consumes a considerable amount of bandwidth. fdcservers.net.com's VDC 3 server seem to satisify this need. however my question is, if i buy a dedicated server with cpanel, will it be as easy as a shared account. if not what other things do i need to learn.

Depending what kinda shared/reseller acct u were on earlier ..iF cpanel... it wudn't be that much difference...almost 95% same...and most likely u cud transfer ur cpanel clients to the new server with cpanel.

Only thing new would be to u, is the WHM setup, which has to be done once and is quite easy..if not, u can always help here and i am sure some1 will help you out.
