I no server experience with servers at all. I do know a little about computers. I am looking for a database server. Is it hard to manage this type of machine? Any input would be great!

With the people here on thsi forum no it's not. If you have a question you can simply ask and someone will help you out. It's much easier to learn because of that so not knowing anything about it is ok. Hope this helps.

yeap that`s true, since i`ve joined FDCServers as a client, and also FDC community I have learned a lot, plus i have begun helping others to :jumpgrin:

I came here not knowing anything about Linux, much less Linux servers. And I've only crashed the server once! (one crash since the end of November ;)) :)
