Thinking about buying an FDC Server.

Hey I've been thinking about buying a server from FDC.

I'm planning on hosting a website (php and mysql) as well as some direct downloads.

I had a few questions:

1) I've been looking at VPS #5 and Unmetered Dedicated #3, but I'm not really sure what the difference is and if the dedicated is worth the extra $50.

2)Could anyone provide me with a speed test, so I could see what speeds I should expect?

i think the different is only with VDS, you shared the server with others and ewith dedicated, you have your total control of the server.

if i wasnt mistaken, i was told that VDS has 4 persson max. so you might ecperiencing low speed. (like mine now :()

not to forget, with dedicated, you can upgrade it with one time payment :P while with vds, you have to pay per month for upgrade
