Sorry, for use this forum, but I'm trying to resolve my question and I also tried use all channels possible without success:

1) Email sales@fdcservers.net
2) ICQ 166046405
3) Site form in http://www.fdcservers.net/contactus.html
4) Chat form

The question is: yesterday 01/30 I order for a virtual server (64MB RAM + 5GB HDD
+ 1Mbit - 300GB/month Unmetered + Fedora + None + IRC:No) and until now, NOTHING was sent to me (order confirmation, welcome letter, etc...).

The only mail that I received, was from Paypal, confirming that the PAYMENT was made !

I'm very concerned thinking that this ISP is not serious, and I have fright that my money was lost !

I can't think other think, because I wrote many emails and not receive any response and off course, my account was not OPEN until now !

What is wrong ?

Please, someone answer my emails and give me some position !

Ana

(sorry for my english)

I looked into this and you`ll probably have to wait another 12-48 hours. It`s because you`re from Brazil and FDC has some really bad experience with credit card and paypal fraud from that part of the world

Hello all and especially Bummer, thanks for answer.

Well, I understand your reasons, because we have so many problems too (we are a medium ISP in Brazil, and we work for almost 8 years, so, we have experiences with fraud orders and so on...).

The problem, is the absence of contact from FDC.
At least a auto-response should be sent.
For people that don't know your service, this frighten and concern.

And about me, if you wish, you can contact NAC (http://www.nac.net) and talk with Eric Steckler for references. We are NAC customer for more than 1 year.

In my order, I said to not contact me by phone, because I don't speak english like you can see (for write is already terrible....). I hope that you not think this is suspect. :)

Well, I will wait for my VS so.
I hope that my account be open soon, because I need this server to keep some remote backups. And the other reason that I order with you is because I like prices and offers and we wish know your services. If the services will be really good, we have interest in resell your Virtual Servers. In NAC, we have dedicated Xeons, and we offer Virtual Servers too (using UML). But NAC not permit IRC services, so, we need another supplier for this service, and, maybe, we can do this with FDC later.

Thank you so much.

Yeah, I think the main issue is that FDC is stocked with new orders of servers and that is how they are also running out of datacenter capacity. Lets just hope that they can find some more time to respond to all the peopel in need.

Also, Ana, you'll get your server. FDC is just in a huge pack of new orders for ...

A) New people approve of the new deals of FDC including uptime improvement
B) They are lossing their capacity LOL

Later and good luck

I had the same issue with my server setup, a friday and Saturday without so much as an auto e-mail confirmation of the order. It seems a little insane to me that FDC doesn't alteast have an auto message that is e-mailed after ordering an account. Something along the lines of:

Thanks for ordering from FDCServers.net!

We are processing your order and will get back to you soon with your login information. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for us to have your new server installed and ready for login.

Thanks again,
FDCServer Team

It only took me about 20 seconds to write that, and it would take about 45 seconds to put up a simple script to send the message to new subscribers...
