The sales email does not work. I sent an email on Friday, August 29th, only to receive back today:

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at ds00209.nozonenet.com.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

<sales@fdcservers.net>:
66.90.66.135 does not like recipient.
Remote host said: 450 4.7.1 <ds00209.nozonenet.com>: Helo command rejected: Host not found Giving up on 66.90.66.135.
I'm not going to try again; this message has been in the queue too long.

Use an email address that has a properly configured email server and you'll be fine. Any free email service will work or you can setup your servers HELO to match the servers hostname and make sure you have an A record for ds00209.nozonenet.com

hrm, I've had the server for many years and it's never been an issue before.

I just know our mailserver rejects anything that doesn't give a valid HELO response.

The domain your mailserver is reporting to be doesn't have a matching A record.

The reason this is implemented is mainly to reject spam messages as the most common spam sign is lack of a valid HELO. Granted it's not always the case but it does filter ALOT of stuff. SPF records are another hting along with ip range blocks (Do not route list), Filtering lists such as spamcop, sorbs and spamhaus. Pattern based matching such as spamassasin or a hardware device such as mailfoundry.

You guys should consider adding 640gb HDDs as an option as it has the cheapet $/gb ratio. i think it costs less than 80usd

for $10 more you can get a 750GB HDD. 640GB HDD isn't worth it.

we use different brands depending who has a good deal or better performance. At the moment we use RiData but we may also use OCZ or SuperTalent
