What would be best for a OS on dedicated server: Fedora 2 or Red Hat 9.?

it depends on what you're planning to use
if you use cpanel i suggest centos

Im planning on opening up a web design business that allows web hosting.

I've been using Fedora 2 + CPanel/WHM since November, haven't had but 1 or 2 problems out of it... but there are only about 15 sites on the server, not sure how stable it is with more sites...

i have fedora 2 cpanel/whm with about 280 accounts (php/mysql/cgi) all very active sites. loads around .1 to .4 peak
