Whats the difference between 5Mbit port vs. 100Mbit port. How much of a difference is there?

well in theroy 100Mbit should be 20 times faster than 5Mbit
yes but not irl :P
in mbps you will be able to push with maximum 5MBPS
and with the 100mbps you will be able to push around 10-15mbps(you will be able to push more than that but if it's constant your port get capped at 10mbps)
there were times that i have pushed 100mbits (not willingly)... however you cannot push it 24/7. the examples they show at http://fdcservers.net/performance.html run over 10mbits for around 5-7 hours. trust me for the price you cannot beat it! blows other datacenters away

to bad the lower end hardware is crap, the setup fee is huge and its cognet only... other than that looks ok to me. 49 extra for cpanel.... bah! (yea i know you could get it elsewhere)
