Hi,
I need to host a few German domains:
like
name.de
and therefore I need the 2 DNS Servers to have different
Class C networks.
So for example:
200.100.12.1
200.100.12.2
will NOT be okay,
but:
200.100.12.1
200.100.15.2
will be okay for the DNS Server IP addresses.
Is this possible with a 19 US$ VDS hosting account ?
Do I get 2 DNS Servers on different class C networks ?
Do I also get WHM and CPanel with that ?
Many thanks.
Regards, Harti.
I doubt thats even possible with a dedicated server.
You could use a seperate dns host like www.zoneedit.com
I think its not possible, but who knows if fdc would do for you

Its very much possible
U can ask them to get ur first ip in the 66.90.x.x range and the second ip from their new ip class , the 208.53.x.x range
I know dnsreport bitches when u have 2 ip's in same class..its just a warning and it doesn't fail you
For instance look at L3 name server ( which are the best and i recomend it to any1 who faces probs with their isp dns servers)
4.2.2.2 and 4.2.2.3

So it is no problem to get
DNS1: 66.90.x.x
and
DNS2: 208.53.x.x
?
Where can I setup this or request this ?
2. What about the control panel ?
Does the 19 US$ VDS also have WHM and CPanel ?
Thanks.

It shouldnt be a problem if they have free ip's left in those ranges..i believe the 66.90 range was full..but then again..u have to inquire on the availability.
Get in touch with sales department and tell them thats ur requirement and process the order if they can fulfill it.
Get ahold of kevin (http://www.fdcservers.net/vbulletin/member.php?u=5) for that :)
As for the cpanel for $20 VDS, no control panel comes with it, but i am sure they can probably add it for an extrea monthly fee
