I'm looking around now and I've stumbled upon this site. The packages look very good, but just to get some perspective here: from the 'fine print' it seems clear that one would be paying, for example, 249 per month for around 3000Gb bandwidth (10Mpbs.) This price is pretty decent considering the specs on the actual system and the general price for upgrades and ad ons etc. However after looking around I have found several other companies offering around 3000Gb bandwidth for the same price or less (though the system specs and price for add ons make them somewhat less appealing.)

I have not finished my search, and I know that this is not the place to ask for alternative suggestions, but I'd appreciate it if someone could explain to me their view on why they have chosen this company. If you strongly believe this to be the best deal that you've found, please explain why...

If this post is out of line with the general spirit of this forum, then the Admin may unregretably remove it.

Another question I have is this: could the Administrator/Company guarantee each user a full 10Mbps at any given moment? Or is it easily possible, being that everyone is on a shared line, that at certain points there would be a max of only 1 or 2...?

Thanks,
Lenny

As you know for unmetered bandwidth, it's mean it's shared i think and will be cap at the top most. So you not always get 10MBps for 10MBps unmetered bandwidth because it's cap. Just attent to word "burstable"

JFOC, for your information.. there is a serious difference between 10 Mbps (that WindowsShopper mentioned) and 100 MBps (that you mentioned). I used to do the same mistake a couple of times in past:

10 Mbps (megabits per second) => 10 Mbit/s (10/8 = 1.25 Megabyte/sec)
10 MBps (megabytes per second) => 10 MB/sec (10x8 = 80 Mbit/s)

WindowShopper, I personally believe that 10 Mbps (1.25 MB/sec) can be reached easily at any time of the day.

WindowShopper I would go with FDC if I where you. If you do use more bandwidth there is no fees or anything, and you can use 15Mbps not 10. It's if you go over 15Mbps for a LOOOOOONG time you'll get capped to 10, but one of my servers pushes 10~20 all day long with no problem ;)

EDIT:
Forgot to say this...
I don't think there's a guaranty but I've never had any problem with pushing 10Mbps.
