1st I would like to thank Mike (http://www.fdcservers.net/vbulletin/member.php?u=35) for all his help. He helped conf my VDS to get my website up and running, thank you!
If you have any problems with your server make sure you ask for help don't be afraid. People like Mike are willing to help you out solve your issues. I know it's hard to trust someone, but trust me all they want to do is help you out. They will help you to the fullest. You have nothing to loose!don't be afraid to ask for help :)

The idea of a forum is for a self running community where everyone helps each other, and the fact people are actively using it is great.
I agree. But it seems that for some people there is that trust factor (which i completely understand). Im just glad the people i have helped have trusted in both me and themselves so we could both reach a common goal :) (a working server lol).
The knowledge one gets from helping another is priceless :D

His problem was one of them easy fixes. Came across it with a few customers here at fdc. When people request ips for their vds's they forget to tell them to be sure that the ips are bounded to their vds! This is important as they will not work until they do so. :cool:

Wasn't refering to the ip's issue.. he had no compilers ( gcc, c) , no gtk, libtcl and other libraries none installed..it was hell to get anything installed
