firewall installation

could we install firewall to a vds

i dont think you can do it.
firewall is supposed to run on main server or on the whole network.
at least this is how freebsd works, ask fdc if you can do it on their vds.

yes you can but its basic as hell with no qos support or anything fancy, its a total pain in the ass, your better off treating it as tho you cant
