hi there,
anyone here has any experience with windows media server? I am trying to create a publishing point and the source is a "Remote Publishing Point", but it keeps giving me error "Unable to connect to establish a connection to the server. Error code:0xc00d0006". If I use a local directory as source it works fine. I tried using both RTSP and HTTP urls to the remote publishing point. I have done this many times on my other servers first time i am getting this error (only on FDC Server). i don't know whats going on.
another problem i am having is i can only connect to my media server using http protocol, mms/rtsp act really wierd. they never connect at first attempt. they work sometimes but most of the times they don't do anything.
i am wondering if there is a network issue where rtsp/mms protocols are being blocked for some reason. i will really appreciate if anyone has any suggestions.
