need help setting RDNS.

I need help setting up RDNS for my ip's..
I already have FDC delegate the RDNS authority to me, whats the next step?
I have added:
ip_here PTR blah.domain.com

Didn't work :(

post your RDNS file here and i will look at it

thats the thing i wanna know, should i create a separate zone file for it? I only added a PTR record in the existing domain zone file using cpanel

you need to create a zone file i have MSN YIM and AIm if you would like help
