The quality of "Ads by Google" on this forum and other places on the internet.

What are the Best and the Worst you have clicked on.

Personally all ads on the internet piss me off. Expecially theones that make noise. Those piss me off to no end.

ads are a idiotic way to get money on the internet. it makes websites look like crap. Sites that have ads average 4-5 ads per page. they are all over. Please spare me people if you want your site to be free then ask people fro donations instead of giving in to these multinational corporations who like to advertise crappy things.......I'll never understand some companies who put up ads for people who sell the same service they do...it boggles the mind.

I think it is a a scam with so many ads not relevant. Now all the search engines are filled with millions of sites that just advertise with the only intent to get you to click on a google ad to make a few cents.

None of my sites have any ads, and one of them can pay for 2 servers with just donations ;)

I would never put those crappy banner ads on my site, I have thought of maybe google ads, but those ugly flashing banners are just too ugly to put on my site.

Google ads are nice, they can be configured to blend right into your website. I get enough money to pay for my servers and have a little bit left over for myself from Google alone. :)

It really depends on how many visitors you get, and the audience you are attracting to your site.

As far as the quality goes, I haven't had any problems that I can think of.

Don't click ads anymore.

Must be lucrative for companies to place advertisements for other companies in the same business.

My thoughts: why start your business when advertising for your competitors pays better.

Note for FDC, personally your "Ads by Google" makes you look cheap........I may not have started with you if I noticed your "Ads by Google" before sign up.

But after my first server, it did not stop me from signing up for more servers.
