Got error when trying to add name servers to new domain

I keep getting this when I try to add the nameservers to another domain
Error Page

Unable to add nameservers: Command failed: unable to verify existence of nameserver n1.thawasteland.org

and with my main domain the one I created the nameservers for I did not get this issue. Maybe DNS has to resolve?

I use EV1 for my domains these days. Ive never seen that error. They do need to resolve, but shouldnt take long. If you are in doubt, shoot an e-mail to domains@ev1sersvers.net and they will be glad to help you. There support replies pretty fast, and always have the answer when I e-mail them. Good luck!

^^ shouldnt that be Ns1 and not n1?
Also, ur name servers are resolving and working properly

Maybe I have to turn this on?
Master NameserverEnter the IP address of a primary nameserver (if this is not a primary nameserver.) that domain and subdomain updates should be sent to. If you turn this option on you will turn this server into a slave server. A trust key relationship must be established beforing entering the hostname (Optional).

Examples: trusted.server.com, ns1.myhost.com, ns2.anotherhost.com

Tried but but did not work. I did not stablih a trust key relationship though

but ns2 still does not work

You dont have to enable that function, unless ur planning to run 2 nameservers and then cluster them. How long past u made changes with ur domain registrar about the NS1 and NS2 ips? For me both NS1 and NS2 resolves.

Just to clarify my doubt, in what control panel ur adding ur domain and where exactly ur getting the error in ? Ev1 server control panel or ur Cpanel?... or pm me the exact details what ur trying to do , such as which is ur main domain used for name server, whoz that domain registrar..which domain name ur adding that uses ur name servers etc
