I am very new to VDS. I have tried to set up the server but am having 2 problems.
Fisrt:
I keep getting this email:
"imap failed @ Mon Apr 4 20:42:48 2005. A restart was attempted automagicly"
Second:
I have seen this in other posts but am still clueless as to how to fix this:
"IMPORTANT: Do not ignore this email.
The hostname (server.junkinthetrunk.ca) resolves to xx.xx.xxx.xx. It should resolve to xxx.xx.xxx.xx. Please be sure to correct /etc/hosts as well as the 'A' entry in zone file for the domain.
Some are all of these problems can be caused by
/etc/resolv.conf being setup incorrectly. Please check this file if you
believe everything else is correct.
You may be able to
automaticly correct this problem by using the ' Add an A entry for your
hostname ' under ' Dns Functions ' in your Web Host Manager"
Do I need two more IPs becuase in Edit Setup when I click on "Assign IP Address" under Primary and Secondary Nameserver it tells me "Sorry, you are out of ips to assign as nameservers "?
