Cant login to WHM as root

I cant seem to login to my WHM as root with my password.

Has somthing happened to the server or have i been hacked ?

How can i cahnge my password... please help asap

Yes, using my main IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:2086 to login to my WHM to change somones account to give them more bandwidth, i noticed it was not accepting my password.
I rebooted the server last night but that was not the problem because i logged in after the reboot no problem.

I changed my password to somthing simple a while ago but thanks to FDC they reset my password to somthing secure.

I will not be choosing a simple password again, i will write down the new password and hide it somwhere that noone will look.
