I keep getting a forum database error, and i have to refresh the page a few times to get the forums to work :( heres a copy of the error...
any one elese getting it?
There seems to have been a slight problem with the database.
Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.

Yup, this problem started after the forums was down for approx 1 hour and still exists.. Kinda annoying

Looks like someone is pissed at FDC. There website was down almost an hour, as on WHT, someone posted at 6:23 (GMT-6) that fdcservers.net appeared to be down. Petr, can you shed some light into this?
probably some lame ass that got his sever shut down... so they call hacking trying to use mysql exploits on the server :eek: lamers...
a simple database repare in cpanel useually fixes that error

FDC main website was up for me..just the Forums was down
We`re upgrading PHP and doing some server maintenance today. Has nothing to do with the network
Yeah..evidently there are some nasty bugs in earlier releases of PHP, as reported by freshmeat today. They said these vulnerabilites were 'easy to exploit'.
So anyone running less than 4.3.10 and 5.0.3 should upgrade.

I am suprised Cpanel hasn't isued an update yet for php
One of the main reasons why I don't really care for control panel software which modifies services. You're at thier mercy until they issue updates. For me, I don't like the idea of twiddling my thumbs while I wait for a patch..meanwhile, some kiddie has his way with my box. ;)
