WEP was never 100% secure.. Every1 knew that from the start. Thats why they started working on WPA and other authenticating method.

I just have a long ethernet lead I trail around with when I want to use my laptop on the go, faster (both ping and transfer rate), more reliable, no one can see my data, and so on
