View Full Version : Orders on weekends slower or don't happen at all?
Do orders get processed on weekends?
I made an order for the Special #3 and it's been over 9 hours now since I did it. Waiting, waiting impatiently (lol, I've been consistantly checking my email).
And a auto reply or something REALLY needs to implemented to the signup process, It leaves me feeling like something's not right and I worry that maybe I miss spelt my email address while filling out the signup form.
Thanks,
- Shane.
deppends.. you might be lucky to get it done today.
They do setup on weekends. Useually it is done late at night (im GMT EST-5)
Yep it's setup now... pretty fast setup compared to some other providers I suppose. :).
Seems kind of slow (it's upload), I can only max out at 300 KB/s at the moment, and it's a 100 Mbps (I know it's on oversold bandwidth). Is it a busy time at the moment? (peak hour for the network?).

ShaneAU I'm getting a stable 10mbit off your server. my routing is through cogent.
Ive always been able to get faster speeds off of cognetco then l3... am i alone on that one?
i was 500 -> 700k stable on my 2mb vds#2
edit:
this is in the irc section
i was always on irc segment, and i always had throuble with fast speeds. i must adimit that it have been stable enought, but fast is not a word that i would use.
PS: irc line is on only level3.

Nope your not alone but part of the problem is that FDC uses Yipes transit for L3 and yipes is terrible. Also L3's chicago links have had problems for ages. Honestly I'd like to see them replace Yipes/L3 with something else.
I seem to get some of the best speeds with Cogent (when I route via it). At the moment I go via Reach Sydney (Australia) > LosAngeles then Level3 from LosAngeles > Chicago it would be good if Reach.com peered with FDC servers :p. That would be amazing.
You know you want to FDCServers ;).
