I'm generally not a fan of war games but I have to admit the new ones that are coming out for PC, PS3, XBOX 360 all look like something I'd be interested in getting, or at least renting.

i use to place bf multiplayer all the time.... ive kinda died out of it... perhaps this will get me back into it... i had a blast playing it at lans :D

I have a server setup on fdc network. IP is 67.159.4.2 and the default port. I am unsure of the port number. Fortunately/unfortunately I went on vacation the day after it came out. So while I haven't been able to play bf2, I have also not "had" to do anything else that I normally would :D. But I will be back at bf2 when I get home from vacation.

I tried running the beta server on two boxes one FDC another on a diff ISP, both ended up with the same results where it would run fine at first but then it would lag up for a few seconds sporadically, and they slowly and slowly grow worse untill its up to 10s lag spikes and it becomes unplayable. Has anybody else had a problem running the beta ded server?

I have played it. I got that chance before I left. The server I started on mine seemed to run fine. But because there were no players me and my friends went to another server.

I really like the game and will likely buy it when it comes out. Gotta get the whole clan to get at it though so we can have alot of people that we are familiar with playing.

I preorderd it a couple of weeks ago now. :). Looking forward to it being released (the full version). Demo's great.
