Not sure but seems like all of the ircd side of fdcservers can't hold any users at all! I have a few boxes from fdc servers and the ircd ones can't hold 100 users each. Since fdc and abovenet are clashing at the moment i would think above net would be giving fdc a discount for this time up and down. And fdc should take the discount and give it to us "The resellers" cause i'm getting so many complaints, i'm going to have to give this month free to most users on my dedicated boxes. Us as in "Resellers" are going to be the ones lossing here to keep there already in place customers happy. What do u all think?

faqall Accually yes I do! Fdc would be getting some sort of discount from above.net cause i already have above.net boxes in new york data center and if somethign happens we get one. But if its not abovenets fault and then i wouldn't expect it but theres been problems from since the first of june.

i dont expect any discount or so, i expect stability and fast speed. and i'm pretty sure fdc will get that for us, i just hope they do that real soon.

by the way bummer, did fdc get the additional bw yet?

The FDC TOS does not provide a SLA. FDC will work out the problems it's having as abovenet is aware of the conflict with the routers.

It would be nice to give cash to all :-)

But it is not about the few dollars FDC would get from Abovenet under a standard SLA agreement and pass it on to the clients.

What it is about is ABOVENET getting the problem solved and doing it very soon.

What is important to FDC or any Data Center the size of FDC is working the problems out and developing a lasting relationship with the upstream provider and not getting into a pissing match at this stage of the game.

maybe not completely free, but they should think about something to give us for all this trouble we are facing lately :)

If not i have no problem with that, but it would be an awesome move.

im not complaining for the recent outage, but talking about money..

Maybe FDC can request a Bandwidth compensation instead of money.. from Abovenet.. and everybody gonna be happy :)

just a comment.. hehe...

A refund or discount would be a very nice thing, however, knowing fdc thus far, I highly doubt they will do anything of the sort. Frankly its getting to the point where I might be shopping around for another provider. My irc server that I host on my irc box has yet to give me any real good stablity.. I keep on hearing that 'it will get better soon' but man, its been too long. I've been with FDC for a while, and it gets rather dull and anoying.

I knew moving to above.net was a bad move on thier part, They never shoulda done it in the first place imho.
