Login Failure? {pls help}

I have everything working and logged in with user/pwd. Right now, the problem is, I can log in but my friend can't. Could there be ip restrictions or 1 log in at a time or any type of errors?

if the server is new and nothing has been configured yet, than there should be no login restrictions yet. Unless if you have started modifying your policies, limits of logging access or have a firewall in place that blocks their range of ips, than you probably would have these problems.
